NEWS

I've been a terrible blogger recently as I've had a lot of things to sort out (and still do!) and been very busy at Uni. I'm almost finished my first year as a Fashion Communication and Promotion student and as much as it has been a great year, it has also been very testing at times, so I'm looking forward to spending my summer at home in Durham with friends and family. That being said, my first year at Uni has only confirmed that I'm on the right path. Working in fashion is still my dream and I love chasing after it.
Another thing I'd like to share is some incredibly exciting news about my university life. In August, instead of returning to Nottingham, I'm going to spend five months studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City! If you know me or you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that living in New York has always been a dream of mine, and now it's a reality. I've never been so excited for anything in my life. Plus, I'm going with such a lovely group of girls, which makes it even more amazing.
Hopefully this means my blog will be a little more exciting too... and not to mention how amazing it will be to be just a subway ride away from the Wang store. Dream come true.

NUMBER 28

Picked up this shirt in the amazing Beacon's Closet in Brooklyn when I visited beginning of January. If you're ever in the area, don't miss the chance to go. I've never seen such affordably priced vintage and retro clothing. My friend Alice even scored a vintage Helmut Lang shirt for around $15.
This rose gold watch is the newest addition to my collection. I've been after a rose gold watch for a while, and Next's version is a lot less expensive than it looks. Now I just need some links taking out to make sure I don't lose it.
