Life in Brooklyn has been so inspiring and overwhelming and incredible that I haven't posted once. With two weeks to go until I return home, I thought I'd post a quick update to let people know I'm still alive. My lovely friend Alice took this shot of me a few days ago while we were wandering around our neighbourhood, wearing the most beautiful leather jacket from BLK DNM that was a birthday present from my Dad.

One day maybe I'll get back into blogging properly, but for now you can follow me on Instagram @eviestothert

Picked up some new Vans the other day for the summer months. I always seem to dress more chilled when its warmer, but I guess everybody sort of does. Think I've got slip-on fever though, cus I can't get the amazing Givenchy sneaks out of my head. Last picture is from my Instagram, follow me @eviestothert.

I've been a terrible blogger recently as I've had a lot of things to sort out (and still do!) and been very busy at Uni. I'm almost finished my first year as a Fashion Communication and Promotion student and as much as it has been a great year, it has also been very testing at times, so I'm looking forward to spending my summer at home in Durham with friends and family. That being said, my first year at Uni has only confirmed that I'm on the right path. Working in fashion is still my dream and I love chasing after it.
Another thing I'd like to share is some incredibly exciting news about my university life. In August, instead of returning to Nottingham, I'm going to spend five months studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City! If you know me or you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that living in New York has always been a dream of mine, and now it's a reality. I've never been so excited for anything in my life. Plus, I'm going with such a lovely group of girls, which makes it even more amazing.
Hopefully this means my blog will be a little more exciting too... and not to mention how amazing it will be to be just a subway ride away from the Wang store. Dream come true.
