A little overdue post from my incredible trip to New York at the beginning of January. This was my second trip to Manhattan so it was important to me to experience the real culture of New York City - beyond Midtown and Times Square. We spent hours wandering around Soho, Williamsburg and Harlem and learned everything there is to know about the origins of Hip Hop on the Music of Harlem tour. Of course, we had to squeeze in a little time for shopping while we were investigating retail spaces in Manhattan. Oh, and I finally experienced the brilliance of the Alexander Wang and Opening Ceremony stores in person.
Hopefully after my deadline has passed and I have a wonderful three weeks off from my studies I'll be able to blog more frequently... and show you some of the little treats I bought myself in New York. Although I'm not going to pretend I didn't spend most of my money on pizza.
